Lede
Privacy
Lede holds the small set of things needed to run the publication: the email or Apple ID you sign in with; your reactions to ledes (editor-private); your journal - the ledes you keep, your notes, and any place you pin (reader-private); a device token if you turn on notifications; and short-lived server logs. Nothing else.
Reactions reach the editor only in aggregate, to inform the register of a lede, and are never shown to other readers. When you pin a lede, the coordinate is used once to name the place and is not stored - only the city or region is kept; precise coordinates never leave your device. Lede shows no advertising, embeds no third-party trackers, and never sells or shares your data.
Delete your account and everything tied to it at any time from Settings, under Delete account. You can also write to editor@lede.report.
